The 8th Annual Great Snowman Convention will be held on February 16-24, 2013 in Syracuse, NY. A year of planning and great community cooperation culminates in this art exhibition and report of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics [STEM] projects. School display spaces will be filled with different types of artwork and STEM projects, all related to snow.

There will be a great amount of original artwork created by our local school children. Our schools, businesses, organizations, and families come together to create this very special exhibition and it attracts children and their families from throughout the Syracuse region and beyond.

Within this website, we’ll be sharing this year’s artwork and summaries of STEM projects, so that children in our communities can benefit from the display, sharing the excitement and joys of the diverse ways of relating to snow. More photos are on facebook.com/SkiddySnowman
